A company was issued a compound fine by the Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30.

Syarikat Jafar Ali Sendirian Berhad, located in Kampung Petani, Tutong, was issued a compound fine of $1,000 for dumping and piling up garbage in a public place. If the company fails to pay the fine within seven days, the case will be taken to court.

The public, companies and business premises owners are reminded to always maintain environmental cleanliness, especially in business premises and public areas by not throwing, piling or leaving any type of rubbish.
