Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA continues to strive to ensure that its artistic and cultural heritage is preserved and developed through the Cultural Day Programme. Held in conjunction with the 42nd National Day of Brunei Darussalam, the programme was officiated on 9th February morning at the University's Auditorium.

The launching was officiated by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, RECTOR of UNISSA. Various activities are provided throughout the four-day programme, including workshops on making dastar and sinjang, as well as an Oratory Competition. The programme begins at 8 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon at the UNISSA Auditorium and Gymnasium, Gadong Campus.
