The Ministry of Education through the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Department of Schools and the Private Education Department, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports held the Distribution of Miniature Table Flags and the 'Semarak Pengibaran Bendera' Programme, 12th February morning, for primary  and secondary schools, as well as higher education institutions in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day Celebration. It was held simultaneously in all four districts, aimed at instilling a sense of love and patriotism among students.

The main focus of the event was at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls' Secondary Arabic Religious School. The distribution of a thousand miniature table flags was presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.
