The delegations tasked with the sighting of the new moon of Ramadhan 1447 Hijrah comprising Awang Haji Shaharuddin Khairul bin Haji Anuar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure, Housing and Professional at the Ministry of Development, Syar'ie Judges and officers of Shari'ah Courts, State Judicial Department, the Prime Minister's Office as well as officers of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Survey Department and State Mufti Department.

The delegations FAILED to sight the new moon of Ramadhan. The delegations were at several locations in Brunei Muara District; Tutong District and Belait District.
