His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, as Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors, attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince's 52nd Birthday celebration. The event was organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah as Secretariat of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA. It took place at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan's Building Complex in the capital, 20th February late afternoon.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Member of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustees, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, as Deputy Chairman of DANA Board of Trustees.

The ceremony commenced with the reading of Surah Yaasin. This was followed by the Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's birthday celebration. The ceremony continued with the breaking of the fast. A mass Fardu Maghrib prayer was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murat. Also present were members of Yayasan's Board of Directors and DANA Board of Trustees.
