Kesyukuran Ceremony with the Mass Fardhu Zohor Prayer, reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day Celebration was held simultaneously in mosques, suraus and religious halls across the country with several mosques as the main focus of the ceremony.

In Belait District, Muhamad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait was the focal point of the ceremony. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.

In Tutong District, the ceremony took place at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council and the Acting Tutong District Officer.

Meanwhile, Utama Mohd Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town became a focal point of the ceremony in Temburong District. Present was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council and the Acting Temburong District Officer.
