The Ministry of Finance and Economy and its departments held a Tahlil ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim in conjunction with Ramadhan. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum, 24th February afternoon.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.
