The delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Departments under it as well as Mukim and Village Consultative Councils in Tutong District held a Tadarus Al-Qur'an Ceremony at Kampung Layong Mosque, Tutong District, 24th February afternoon.

The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. It began with mass Fardhu Asar prayer, followed by the reading of Tadarus Al-Qur'an and tahlil as well as doa selamat.

The event ran concurrently with the presentation of wakaf or endowment for the mosque's usage as well as donation presentation to 10 orphans from the village.
