Primary and secondary schools, colleges as well as sixth form centres nationwide held the Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day celebration, simultaneously in the four districts. Such celebration aims to provide exposure to the young generation, especially students to appreciate the meaning of independence and foster the values of loyalty and love for the country.

The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School held such a celebration on 24th February morning. The event included reading of doa, preview of His Majesty's Titah in conjunction with the National Day Celebration and oath reading.

Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah also held a similar celebration. Such celebration is hoped to strengthen the spirit of unity, patriotism and nationhood among students.
