In conjunction with the world celebration of Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Day which is observed annually on the 7th of Ramadhan, the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates Brunei Darussalam held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony at As-Salaam Mosque, Kampung Junjongan, 25th February afternoon.

Among those present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. This year's celebration included a short talk, Tadarus Al-Quran, reading of Tahlil and doa kesyukuran. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council.
