Fasting during Ramadhan is not just about abstaining from hunger and thirst, but also an opportunity to improve a healthy lifestyle. Choosing the right food during sahur and breaking the fast has a big impact on energy levels throughout the day. The content of a tazkirah subuh or dawn talk "Penjagaan Kesihatan dan Permakanan Sewaktu Berpuasa di Bulan Ramadan" also emphasises that by practising healthy diet and a regular lifestyle, Ramadhan can be spent with a healthy body and better quality acts of worship.

 

The tazkirah subuh in conjunction with the 'Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat' Programme took place at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan. The tazkirah was delivered by Awang Waajidun Ni'am bin Haji Dollah, Health Education Officer at the Health Promotion Centre. The programme aims to invite Muslims in the country to glorify the mosque through the practice of mass worshipping, studying knowledge and carrying out religious activities.
