The Tadarus ceremony of the delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it together with the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils in Belait District took place on 2nd March afternoon at  Zainab Mosque in Lumut.

At the ceremony, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister Of Home Affairs presented endowments and donations to 24 orphans from Mukim Liang. It coincided with the recitation of Tadarus Al-Quran, Tahlil and Doa Selamat. The event aimed to foster close relations among officers and staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs along with members of the Mukim and Village Consultative Council and grassroots leaders.
