In conjunction with Ramadhan, the Brunei Malay Teachers' Association, PGGMB, held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony.  The ceremony ran concurrently with the Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration as well as the Donation Presentation to Orphans of PGGMB Members.  It took place at the Association's Headquarters in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Present was Dayang Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamal, Acting Director of Islamic Studies. The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah. 22 orphans receive the donation.
