101 recipients comprising orphans and children from the destitute group received donations on 8th March morning. The Donation Presentation Ceremony organised by the Alumni of the Brunei Government Hostel Students, Singapore, AKBS, took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Among those present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy. The ceremony, among others, was hoped to help the groups alleviate financial expenses and preparations for celebrating the upcoming Aidilfitri.
