The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and its departments organised a ceremony to commemorate the Nuzul Al-Qur'an and a donation presentation to orphans. It took place at the ministry, 10th March morning.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The function included a special lecture titled 'Al-Qur'an: Cahaya Petunjuk Sepanjang Zaman' or 'Al-Qur'an: A Guiding Light Through the Ages' by Awang Muhammad Safwan bin Mohd Suffian, Assistant Religious Development Officer. Donations were presented to 53 orphans. The ceremony was part of the ministry's annual religious activities in conjunction with Ramadhan.
