The Legislative Council Sitting began with the council reviewing and approving the Minute of the First Meeting of the 21st Session of the Legislative Council that convened for 14 days last year. The meeting was chaired by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council.​
