The First Meeting of the 22nd Session of the Legislative Council entered its second day, with the Council paying its highest gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, for gracing the occasion and bestowing a titah at the State Opening Ceremony of the Legislative Council. In the Motion for Royal Speech, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council, upheld His Majesty's titah, which contained highly significant guidance and guidelines for Members of the Legislative Council in implementing national development policies and strategies.

His Majesty's concern on various aspects of the citizens' lives, including social well-being, national economic growth, infrastructure and public facilities, national security and public administration governance, all of which reflect his leadership which always prioritizes the well-being and development of the citizens while ensuring that the country's prosperity and stability are maintained.
