The 18th Jalinan Kasih RTB Project continued with the Breaking of the Fast with Orphans. The ceremony was held at the Official Residence of the Tutong District Officer, 12th March late afternoon.

At the ceremony, 31 orphans were feted. The donation presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council and representatives of the contributing companies, namely Pek Kheng Guan, Project Manager of Syarikat Tanira Sendirian Berhad, Ming Ong, Operations Director, Soon Lee Heavy Machinery Sendirian Berhad and Albert Shim from Build Mix Trading.

A similar project continued on 12th March night, at McDonald's Seria. 32 orphans were feted, which was followed by the donation presentation by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer. The ceremony was enlivened with a talk titled 'Ramadhan hampir pergi' delivered by Awang Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapha, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da'wah Centre. The 'Jalinan Kasih RTB' project is an initiative of RTB's corporate social responsibility in supporting the community during Ramadan.
