32 orphans and 44 recipients from certain groups in Kampung Sungai Akar received donations during the Tahlil and Donation Presentation Ceremony for the village. It took place on 15th March at Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Msoque, Kampung Sungai Akar.

Among those present was Yang Berhormat Lau How Teck, Member of the Legislative Council. It was organised by Kampung Sungai Akar Village Consultative Council and Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Sungai Akar. It included mass tahlil reading and breaking of fast.
