A similar event was also organised by Kampung Kapok Village Consultative Council. It coincided with reading of Tahlil and Doa Arwah for the village. The event was held on 15th March afternoon at Kapok Primary School.

The donations was presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. 13 orphans registered under the Department of Community Development for the village received the donations. Such a donation is hoped to ease the financial burden of the orphans and families in the holly month and upcoming festive celebration.
