The Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it held a Tadarus Closing Ceremony in conjunction with this year's Ramadhan. Organised by Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in collaboration with the Public Service Department, it was held at Ash- Shaliheen Mosque, 17th March late afternoon.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The ceremony began with an endowment presentation to the Mosque Affair Officer of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque. The tadarus was one of the Prime Minister's Office's annual activity to seek blessings and multitudes of reward from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
