​The advantages of a 'Special Economic Zone' gained response from the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister of Finance and Economy. According to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, a memorandum of understanding has been signed in February 2025.

In terms of economy, Yang Berhormat gave his full support as it brings numerous benefits to economy and country with a high amount of investment. This is not just a one-time investment but will continue for years to come. Thus this is a sustainable investment for the country's economy and in turn generates jobs for locals.
