String lights are a popular decorative element used to welcome the month of Syawal and Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the country, symbolising joy and celebration. These lights, often featuring festive designs like stars, moons, or lanterns, are used to brighten homes, gardens, and community spaces during the festive season.

In a closer look by RTB crew, the night atmosphere in several commercial areas was illuminated by colourful lights. Colourful lights, themed installations, and decorations evoked joy and cheerfulness to the visitors. The public also took the opportunity to take pictures with festive installation.

Private homes are also decorated with various colours and shapes of Raya lights and decorations to enliven the festive atmosphere of Syawal. Now, private residences are enhanced with energy-efficient LED lighting, featuring modern smart systems, warm festive string lights, and exterior eaves lighting.
