Topics under the Ministry of Religious Affairs were voted on and approved, 25th March afternoon. The sitting went on to the Committee of Supply Debate for the Ministry of Development, by raising several issues among them periodic reviews on critical infrastructure and involvement of local contractors.

 

Periodic review of critical infrastructure sites and pathways, ensuring preparedness of the country's system.

 

Contractors and suppliers have competence, in addition to involving local contractors in the construction industry.

 

An action plan is needed to systematically address village road maintenance problems.

 

International construction standards are adapted to national infrastructure and construction projects.

 

A more dynamic mixed method 'ASFAT', to reduce road maintenance expenses.

 

The 'Waste-to-Energy system' project, improves environmental sustainability.

 

Improving road structures, as well as the use of technology, ensures road durability.

 

Upgrading road levels in low-lying areas often affected by floods.

 

Efforts to strengthen recycling initiatives comprehensively and integratedly.

 

Capacity studies and sustainable water infrastructure development including integration of alternative water sources.
