Apart from the existing Hari Raya songs, Hari Raya songs created by local composers have also gained the attention of listeners in the country. With the presence of old and new Hari Raya songs broadcast on television and radio, it continues to brighten the Aidilfitri celebration.

Local composers of Raya songs, including Awang Muhd Shahminan bin Mohd Yunos, also known as Miennan Yunos, have produced more than 17 Raya songs since 2009, with the traditional pop genre remaining a favourite among many. According to him, the inspiration for the songs comes from his experiences celebrating Hari Raya with his family and the stories of people around him.

Although music trends change with times, Raya songs still maintain the same theme of joy, togetherness and the excitement of the Aidilfitri celebration. Meanwhile, Pengiran Salbiah binti Pengiran Haji Bujang, a local singer who has been active since the 90s, produced a Raya song this year that is catchy and easy to remember.

With the creativity of local composers and singers, Hari Raya songs are expected to continue to grow and remain part of this country's cultural identity.
