The strategic cooperation and friendly relations between the Syariah Courts of Brunei Darussalam and the Kelantan Syariah Judicial Department, particularly in matters of Syariah law, are hoped to be further strengthened through a courtesy call from the Chief Syariah Judge of Kelantan and delegation to the Syariah Courts of Brunei Darussalam.

Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Awang Haji Besar, Brunei's Chief Syariah Judge, received a courtesy call from e Chief Syariah Judge of Kelantan and delegation. Also held was a bilateral discussion session between Brunei's Syariah Courts and the Kelantan Syariah Judiciary Department.​
