The daughter of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah has consented to attend the Commissioning Course 252 Sovereign's Parade held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, RMAS, United Kingdom, on the 10th of April 2026, to mark the commissioning of Her Royal Highness' son, Pengiran Anak 'Abdul Raqiib bin Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Rahim.

Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak 'Abdul Raqiib began his military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, RMAS in May 2025 and was commissioned as Lieutenant on 10th April 2026 upon successfully completing the military training from the world-renowned institution. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak 'Abdul Raqiib is His Majesty's first grandson to have successfully completed the course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, RMAS, United Kingdom. The Commissioning Course 252 Sovereign's Parade was represented by General Dame Sharon Nesmith DCB ADC, Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, United Kingdom.

Also present at the Commissioning Ceremony were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Rahim bin Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak Doctor Kemaludin Al-Haj and other members of the Royal Family.
