To strengthen unity and relations in conjunction with Syawal, the Ministry of Religious Affairs held the Ramah Mesra Hari Raya Aidilfitri' for the officers and staff of Ministry of Religious Affairs. The celebration took place at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arab School, Kampung Rimba.

Among those present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Datin. The celebration served as a platform for social and charitable activities for the employee of Ministry of Religious Affairs in fostering noble values and strengthening the family institution.
