As Syawal is in the third week, Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations and open house events continue to be held throughout the country. The Mukim Mentiri Consultative Council held the 'Ramah Mesra Aidilfitri' event at Kampung Tanah Jambu, 11th April night.

Among those attending was Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. The celebration aimed to enliven Syawal and further strengthen ties among Acting Mukim Penghulu, Village Heads and Acting Village Heads especially for mukim Mentiri.
