Sinar Matahari school emerged champions of 'Bicara Berirama Sejarah Brunei' Competition for Primary Schools nationwide. With themed, “Sejarah Brunei Citra Melayu Islam Beraja", the competition provides a platform to foster the spirit of nationalism and love for the country, encouraging people to remember and love the country's historical heritage.
Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council. Sultan Hashim Batu Apoi Primary School and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School were in the second and third place respectively. While the best script was won by Sinar Matahari School and the best conductor was won by a student from St. Andrew's School. The competition took place at the Pro Chancellor Arts Centre building, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
