Twenty orphans and children from certain groups received donations and zakat or tithe at the Sentuhan Kasih Syawal ceremony, organised by SMFZ Event Planner & Management, Kencana Laila Entertainment, and Impian Cahaya Iman Project. The event took place at a café in Kiulap, 17th April afternoon.

Donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council. The ceremony, among others aimed to encourage the culture of sharing blessings and to foster a sense of compassion among members of the community.  Also held was a presentation of contributions to two outstanding students in the fields of academics and Al-Qur'an memorisation, as an encouragement for them to continue pursuing knowledge.
