His Royal Highness 920 Lieutenant Colonel (Udara) Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah on 20th April afternoon graced the Arrival Ceremony of the
final two Airbus C-295MW aircraft for the Royal Brunei Air Force. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Brigadier General (Udara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence and Brigadier General (Udara) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force. The ceremony took place at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base.
His Royal Highness witnessed the traditional "Water Salute" as the aircrafts entered the Military Apron. The two aircraft completed a seven-day ferry flight from the supplier's facility which begun on 14th of April 2026.
Doa selamat was read by Major Narulismandy@Anwar Hadi bin Haji Samah, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate JAMA'AT.
His Royal Highness was then introduced to the aircraft crew and took a closer inspection of the aircraft.
His Royal Highness then proceeded to a Hi-Tea.
Prior to departing, His Royal Highness signed the Royal Parchment.
