13 officers as the initial delegation from the Haj Pilgrims Management Office, Administration and Medical for this year's haj season departed for Saudi Arabia on 20th April morning, aboard a Royal Brunei Airlines flight. The delegation comprises 5 officers from the Administrative Hajj Pilgrim Affairs Office and an officer from the Medical Hajj Pilgrim Affairs Office.
Present at Brunei International Airport was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The delegation led by Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Acting Assistant Director of Haj Management as the Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrims Management Office for this year's haj season to Saudi Arabia, is to make early preparations for haj management affairs with stakeholders in Saudi Arabia prior to the arrival of the country's intending haj pilgrims. The country's haj pilgrims are scheduled to depart for the holy land on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of May.
