6 Qari and 6 Qariah will compete in the Final of the National Musabaqah Al-Quran Reading for Adults for 1447 Hijrah/2026. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a full rehearsal was held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, 23rd April morning. With the theme 'Mengukuhkan Pembelajaran Al-Qur'an dan Menghayati Ajarannya' or Strengthening Al-Quran Learning and Internalising Its Teachings, the Musabaqah will be held for three days starting the 27th of April. It is co-organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs; the Prime Minister's Office; Ministry of Education; Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications; and Datastream Digital (DST) Sendirian Berhad.

Among those present, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairperson of the Musabaqah Executive Committee; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Co-Advisor of the Musabaqah Executive Committee; and Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.
