The Ministry of Education, through the Department of Schools Inspectorate and the Educational Technology Centre, EdTech held a Doa Kesyukuran and Doa Selamat ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Education, 25th April afternoon, for more than 80 intending haj pilgrims comprising officers and staff of the Ministry, including educators from schools and higher education institutions.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education. The ceremony was enlivened with a talk titled “Ahlan Wa Sahlan Duyuf Ar-Rahman", as well as a presentation of donations to the intending haj pilgrims. The ceremony aimed to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala so that all the Ministry's intending haj pilgrims are granted protection, good health, as well as a blessed and accepted Haj.
