The struggle, sacrifice and contribution as an imam or prayer leader and propagator as well as a historical figure in the country will continue to be remembered especially by the descendants through the Book: "Kembara Hayat Imam Panjang, Sebuah Memoir Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahim". The launching of the new book took place at a Cafe at Jalan Telanai, 2nd May afternoon.

The launch was officiated by Doctor Awang Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Head of Brunei History Centre. The 105-page book depicts the life journey of Imam Panjang on the legendary figure's determination in developing personality, life skills, fighting to develop family and society, religion, race and country. The book on the late Imam Panjang bin Akim or known as Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahim is hoped to be an example and an encouragement for the next generation.
