The first haj flight carrying Brunei Darussalam's intending pilgrims aboard the Royal Brunei, RB flight BI4201 landed safely at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport at approximately 3:48 in the afternoon Madinah time.

The group, comprising 254 people were welcomed by His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Also present was Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah. Of the total number of intending pilgrims in the first group, 150 are travelling under the package offered by Straits Central Agencies Sendirian Berhad, and another 104 are under the package provided by Darussalam Services Sendiran Berhad.
