Increasing motivation, self-confidence and self-reliance, are among the objectives of the Life Skills Program: Turkiye Food Making with the Aftercare Support Association, AFSA in supporting the rehabilitation process and social integration of former inmates. It was held at the AFSA Office, Jalan Kebangsaan, 8th May afternoon.
Present was His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to the country. Through the program, participants acquired practical Turkiye food making skills that have the potential to generate income while contributing to the well-being of society as a whole. The program organised by AFSA in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye and the Yunus Emre Institute was a meaningful community empowerment initiative in supporting the social reintegration process and economic development.
