Three national athletes will participate in the 59th Melaka Open Athletics Championships, in Melaka, Malaysia. Their participation is part of preparations for the SEA Games 2027.

Md Nurirfan bin Muhammad A'Arafah; Mohammad Arif Danial bin Eddy Norisham and Kasyful Asymawi bin Hj Khairularifin will participate in the 1500-metre and 800-metre events. Their participation is supported by the Brunei Darussalam Athletics Federation BDAF.
