Masjid Jubli Intan will be recognised as the first mosque in Brunei Darussalam to have the Green Building certification, integrating spiritual development with environmental sustainability. With the mosque's construction funded through the National Development Plan and the Mosque Construction Fund, it is expected to be completed by the 31st of July 2027.
Designed by Architect Awang Haji Azmi bin Awang Haji Tahir with the assistance of Awang Abdul Azeem bin Abdul Rahman from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the mosque features a unique approach and creativity with Islamic elements and diamond-inspired concept. These include the Jubilee Plaza, Diamond Dome, 60-metre Minaret and a main entrance adorned with calligraphy of Al-Quran verses. The mosque's construction is a testament of His Majesty's 60 years of reign, based on faith for the future generation.
