Undergraduates of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute are urged to use Artificial Intelligence, AI as a tool to improve the effectiveness of learning and creativity, and not as a substitute for the role of human thinking and creativity. The call was made during the Acceptance of New Undergraduates Ceremony which took place at the Institute, 16th May morning.

In his speech, Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University as the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute's Board Member also reminded that the use of AI for unhealthy purposes will lead to various issues such as the spread of false information. 28 male and 16 female students were accepted to study at the 'Aliyah Qiraat Higher Diploma level for the 4th Intake of the 2026-2029 Academic Session.
