The Voting and Selection Ceremony for the Head of Kampung Rimba Kawasan Dua, Mukim Gadong 'A' was held on 17th May morning. The ceremony took place at Alif Primary School, Rimba.

The sole candidate for the position was Awang Mohd Khairul Anwar bin Matshah, aged 33. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile, the residents of Kampung Kiarong Kawasan Satu, Mukim Gadong 'B', also voted to choose the candidate for the Head of the Village. Present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, Member of the Legislative Council and Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. The sole eligible candidate was Awang Muhammad Najib bin Haji Abd Hamid, aged 35.
