This is because the cemetery has reached full capacity, and the closure for burial is to preserve the sanctity of the cemetery. However, the public can still visit the Kampung Kiarong Islamic Cemetery.

As an alternative measure, burials can still be carried out at nearby cemeteries as stated. Information on Islamic cemeteries and lists of mosques that have the facility for funeral rites can be obtained at the Ministry of Religious Affair's website or social media.
