Brunei Darussalam's participation in the Education World Forum, EWF, reflects the Ministry of Education's continued commitment towards strengthening the national education system to remain relevant, resilient and responsive to global developments in line with the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035. Recently, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Minister of Education attended the forum held in London, United Kingdom.

The forum brought together Education Ministers, policymakers, industry leaders and education experts to discuss developments, challenges and directions in the global education sector. It was officiated by The Right Honourable Bridget Phillipson, MP, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities, Department for Education, United Kingdom.

The Minister of Education also attended several plenary sessions and bilateral meetings. Also present was Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The theme for this year's forum is "Educating for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways".
