To promote cultural heritage and highlight the uniqueness of local classical elements, the Tutong District Heritage and Classical Week is being held for two days at the Tutong Culture Street, Tutong Town. The event is jointly organised by the Tutong District Office, Tutong Municipal Department and Tutong District Creative Development Body in collaboration with the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils and Tutong Buzz.

It was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council. The event brings together various exhibitions of antiques and classics as well as historical artefacts that reflect the identity and heritage of the local community. Apart from being a platform to introduce cultural treasures to the public, the event also involves the participation of artists, local entrepreneurs and village communities towards reviving the old heritage so that it remains relevant and appreciated by the current generation. Open until the 24th of May, the event is filled with various interesting activities.
