58 officers and staff from the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism also received the Long Service Medal, PKL in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday. It was held at said ministry on 26th May afternoon.

The medals were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The medals serve as a recognition and appreciation of their service and contributions, and act as a motivation for the recipients to further improve their work performance.
