The Major Islamic Event was also celebrated simultaneously at the main mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide with the Sunat Aidiladha Prayer.

The main focus in Belait District was at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait. Present was Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer.

In Temburong District, the focus was at Utama Mohd Salleh Mosque, Bangar Town. Present was Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.

Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town was the focal point of the event in the district. The sermon among other things stressed that the haj pilgrimage teaches Muslims to always be grateful for the blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
