Also holding the rites of sacrifice was Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, 29th May afternoon.

6 buffaloes and one goat were sacrificed this year. Present was Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD. The ceremony was organised by the Spiritual and Community Service Unit, Student Affairs Section, in collaboration with the UBD Student Representative Council.

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE also held a similar ceremony at the IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus, sacrificing two buffaloes. The sacrificial meats were distributed by Doctor Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, Director of Technical Education.

Also organising the Korban ceremony was the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. The distribution of sacrificial meats were officiated by Awang Haji Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, the association's Chief Commissioner of Scouts.
