The Local Food Festival is being held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas area. The festival, which runs until this Sunday, was inaugurated on 29th May afternoon.

Launching the festival was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainal bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council. The festival features full participation from local traders. The event organiser, Starbugs Event Management, hopes that local entrepreneurs will receive strong support from all walks of life in helping to upgrade their businesses to a higher level, as well as able to compete in the wider market. Also held are various family-oriented recreational activities, including train games, archery and go-karting.
