218 officers and staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments received the Long Service Medal, PKL at the Brunei Darussalam State Honorary Medals Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration. The ceremony took place at a restaurant in the capital.

The presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. PKL is a recognition and appreciation for the services of government officers and staff who demonstrate excellent service and dedication within the specified period.
